This book is not one of Brown's best. I am a fan of his previous work since before the whole Da Vinci Code hype. The latest book tries hard to be as engaging and unputdownable as it's predecessors, but doesn't really succeed. For me, the plot didn't have the polished feel I was expecting, it's much to fast paced and leaves you asking "what was that all about?". In this book the secret society involved is the Free Masons, I really struggled to care about their traditions and wasn't as interested in finding out about them as with the Illuminati etc. Overall opininion - worth a read but don't expect alot. 6/10
